This one landed green a fortnight ago and it’s been the most fun — and the most fiddly — coffee on the bench all summer. Roasted light, it leans into peach, jasmine and a soft black-tea finish.
How we’re brewing it
At the café we’re running it as filter, a touch coarser than usual, with water just off the boil. It’s forgiving once it’s dialled in, but it rewards a slower pour — don’t rush the bloom.
Grind matters more than anything here. Too fine and the delicate fruit turns sharp; too coarse and it goes flat and tea-like.
If you’re taking a bag home, give it three or four days to settle before you judge it — fresh off the roaster it’s a little shy. And if you’d rather we brewed it for you, come by: we’re at 14 Larch Lane, Fernway, open Mon–Fri 7am–6pm · Sat 8am–4pm · Sun 9am–3pm.
